BEOBackSafe-Haven Collections
Safeguarding Humanity’s Irreplaceable Biological Archives
Natural history collections around the world are facing an unprecedented crisis of defunding, closure, and neglect. These specimens are not historical relics—they are irreplaceable physical snapshots of Earth's genetic history.
We rely on donations to operate. Please consider buying us a cup of coffee a month, which includes Basic Membership perks.
BEO serves as an active safe haven and permanent steward for orphaned, threatened, or displaced specimen collections of all sizes. By rescuing these archives, we ensure that past baseline data remains accessible to inform future ecosystem restoration.
